Solid sterling silver (ag 925)
Our jewellery is made from certified sterling silver and stamped with our registered mark and 925. This means that it is 92.5% pure precious silver, which is a durable quality, perfect for jewellery. We also apply an anti – tarnish solution to keep your silver looking pristine for longer.
Our jewellery is crafted using only sterling silver, however some of our designs use gold vermeil details to enhance the design. This will be stated in the items description. All our Assay Assured and hallmarked sterling silver is 92.5% pure.
The Seal of Approval
Our sterling silver jewellery weighing above the minimum legal threshold of 7.78g is hallmarked by an independent 3rd party Assay office (Edinburgh Assay Office) which guarantees that the precious metal is of the fineness stated, meaning that you don't just have to take our word for it.
REACH regulations
All Silver Origins jewellery collections pass and comply with all EU REACH regulations.
Nickel, Cadmium and Lead are trace metals which can be found in any precious metals such as silver or gold, they are also classified as an allergen.
We have a comprehensive programme to test for all trace metals which are potentially harmful. This is conducted by an independent laboratory to ensure they meet and comply with the legal EU standard, so you can be sure that our jewellery is safe and to the highest standards when wearing it.
Natural gemstones
Our gemstones are sourced from all over the world by master artisans who hand select and hand cut each one. All our suppliers work to stringent social, ethical and environmental standards.
By nature, gemstones will always vary in colour and may have natural inclusions within the stone. This is to be expected and indeed, enhances its natural beauty.
